We desperately need to see the Christ of Christmas with fresh eyes again. We can do this by looking at Jesus through the eyes of the two people who are usually left out of the average Nativity Set. Yet, they interacted with Mary, Joseph and the baby before the Magi did. We find this account recorded for us in the Gospel of Luke, the good news according to Luke. Luke is one of the four gospels that record for us the life and ministry of Jesus. The events around the birth of Jesus are only recorded for us in the book of Matthew and Luke.
