Life and blessings have a way of slipping through our fingers.  Our reaction is that we try to protect ourselves and the blessings we have received by holding on tightly.  This usually turns into a form of worship and serving the blessings which God has freely given to us.  What's the solution to this common dilemma?  The answer is that we need to learn just like the men and women of faith in the scriptures did to "Give it Up". When we can give up our rights, our passionate pursuit of possessions we can identify with Jesus.  Jesus did not cling to his rights but gave them up and emptied himself for us.  We need to realize that we cannot own or possess blessings but they are given to us for a time in order to bless others.  Get ready... to "Give it Up"!
